Dear God of Possibilities
We are grateful for your presence
In this season of waiting
Where we anticipate the birth of
Jesus at Christmas
And whoever Jesus is to us in this moment
Help us to experience the humility of mystery
In that sacred story.
In this season of waiting
We gather
In this virtual space
And bring with us our own stories of pain, hope, waiting, and joy
From our various locations.
Wherever we are geographically or spiritually,
God
Help us to grow patient in Advent’s waiting,
They we may find joy and hope and peace
During this season.
